It was a fabulous November day and the beach was massive. We had a really enjoyable walk with our dog who loved it. The last time we came here it was very windy so we were surprised how much calmer it was.

Worth a drive out and short walk from the carpark - no toilets or refreshments, nearest pub in the next village The Sun Inn

I've got so many happy memories here from my childhood! There is nothing better than going on a breezy day and body boarding on the huge waves. We used to spend hours here and wanted to go straight back the next day. Picnics, waves and sun, what more could you ask.

So many great memories of evening BBQs here with friends. 3 miles of golden sands, excellent for swimming. Great walks. And wow what a sky - great for star gazers. My now husband proposed on this beach, just magical memories, a must visit.

Hells Mouth is beautiful on sunny days but terrifying in a gale ! Best views are obtained by doing the coastal walk and approaching from the East end.Sea currents can be dangerous here so beware if you swimming

Messy waves but still surfable and good height for beginner/intermediate surfers on the day we went. No facilities nearby which makes the beach reasonably quiet even on hot summer days. Rent boards in Abersoch on your way through.

An excellent surfers beach, can get busy and there are rips that might take starters by surprise. A couple of surf schools run lessons on the beach so an excellent place for a beginner

Very short stop at Hell's Mouth on a windy day. Lovely beach, shame about the og ess left on the path from car park to beach.

If you want to get in the water a surf it's great, but children should not go in as the tides are very strong the beach is clean nice place to chill out
