This is a good place to walk your dogs with a river running through. There is an old water mill there - what a pity it isn't working. I remember many years ago it was working, though not producing flour.

Really lovely walk but have noticed much more dog mess recently. Lots of dogs off their leads which can be off putting for children. They need more signs and bins to remind dog walkers to do the responsible thing and pick up after their pets.

The paths generally are reasonably smooth but can be a bit rough where tree roots are exposed. Inclines are ♿ friendly These comments apply to the short walk only ♿ Toilet ♿ Parking 🅿

I’m very sorry I couldn’t answer this in time and I know it’s probably no use to you but as the weather has been like this non stop it does mean that the river will be dried out.
