Good day out

Went for the day with family. We had a great day the staff were very helpful. I would have marked a 5 if the penguin café charged more realistic prices.

I visited the zoo, unfortunately the weather was not great but that did not dampen my visit. I enjoyed the bird show and penguin walk. All the staff were friendly and were happy to answer questions.

Just visited this zoo, an enjoyed every second! We we're very lucky because every animal was out! The penguin run was the highlight of the day! But having a chitchat with the huge Condor was amazing! Cant wait to come back again an spend even more time with the very chilled out Lemurs :D

I have visited this zoo on several occasions and still think it's good value and a fun visit. This time I felt it looked tired and needed some upkeep . They no longer have tigers and the enclosure has been left to get overgrown and rot and there are no signs stating they are no longer present. Which was disappointing... More

We visited the Zoo for my son's 3rd birthday - he loves crocodiles and alligators and this was the only zoo I could find nearby that had them! It was a lovely day out and we all enjoyed it. It was much cheaper than Chester, yes it was nowhere near as big but that was nice as it wasn't too... More

Haven't been to the zoo since I was a child. Visited with my 2 and a half year old triplets, husband and my mum. It was very reasonable to get in. We had no problem with pushchair access around the zoo. Animals looked happy. Lots of activities going on throughout the day. Playgrounds for children, born small and for older... More

Lovely afternoon out with the children. The bird show, Penguin and Sealion displays are top class. Something for everyone, a must on a sunny day

I took my 10 year old granddaughter and we both loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful and the animals looked well cared for. One of the best parts was actually going into the lemurs' enclosure and being able to see them very close up. We had lunch in the cafe overlooking the penguin pool and it was tasty... More

My partner and I had a most enjoyable day last week at the Welsh Mountain Zoo as part of our week-long stay near Conwy. The SatNav postcode is spot on in finding the zoo, although it certainly does look as if your pre-set directions must be wrong as you find yourself on a long narrow road which appears to lead...
