A pretty eclectic place. I was interested in the theater. It's been along time since I saw an Imax show. Instead I got a three story flat screen limited to two d. I sought out the natural history section and thought it lame then discovered it wound around and it was indeed quite good. The exhibit of the history of... More

Very nice, informative museum. Great for children but adults can enjoy also. Undergoing a major renovation, but not too torn up at the moment. Planetarium was closed during our visit

I grew up in the Memphis area and have visited the Pink Palace on numerous occasions. It is filled with Memphis history and is a good place for locals (and tourists) to learn about the area. The museum is always clean and they have a cafe and gift shop on site. They also have a Planetarium and IMAX theater (but... More

Tara our animatronic T-Rex, Earthquakes in the Mid-South and Finding Your Human Ancestors are three of the most recent improvements. The CTI 3D Giant Theater just received a complete remodel including a new projector, sound system and much more. The... More

We really enjoyed this museum and all its history. It was fun to learn about the family that built this house and the people of the south. There is a lot about the civil war and the area. I really enjoyed all the displays of the local trades, dentists to blacksmiths. Some of the newer exhibits encouraged you to pick... More

I had a good time there, I didn't visit all the attractions but I enjoyed my time there. The place is nice and it was really calm as it wasn't packed.
