Visited this park.. There were no restrooms. While the ambience was serene, because of the bridge and the M river bank, you could say that the place has 'potential'. It was mostly barren but since it ran right by the river, one can get easily distracted by the river and forget about the rest of the space... lack of restrooms... More

Big park on the banks of the Mississippi River. Great place to picnic and watch the river. Bring a patio umbrella for shade as there are few trees. Great views of downtown and the 2 Miss. River bridges.

I would recommend this park if you would like to enjoy walking by the Mississippi River or just sitting and looking at the view. There isn't much to do otherwise but just a great place to relax and enjoy the weather especially if it is a warm day.

Although there really isn't a lot to do here, this is a great place to watch the sunset over the Mississippi River.

You've probably never heard of Tom Lee. In 1925, he rescued 32 people from a sinking steamboat on the Mississippi River with no regard for his own safety. Now this 30 acre park, named for him, is a great place for running, walking, and biking. There is an obelisk dedicated to Tom Lee as well as a statue depicting a... More

We went to this park right before and at sunset and it is VERY beautiful. Great place to get pictures of the MS river, the bridge, Bass Pro shop , etc. The Tom Lee statue is cool and tells you a bit of history. FYI= the only restrooms available are porta potties that smell. Some of the surrounding neighborhoods are... More

If you love to walk, the entire Memphis waterfront has a series of parks that are fun and attractive. It's safe to walk early in the morning and toward late evening. Enjoy!!!
