My husband had been here before and was anxious for me to experience the “duck walk” from the main fountain to the elevator to the rooftop. From our view, I only saw the ducks walk the red carpet at 5 pm. It was cute show,...More

We have been regular visitors to the Peabody since it reopened in the early 80s. If you are visiting Memphis, do not miss it. The restaurants are fantastic. The lobby is a beautiful, fabulous place to relax and have a drink.

We've stayed at this hotel before. Talk about a bustling hotel. This place is hopping all the time. You must see the marching of the ducks. Rooms are fine. A bit pricey. All meals are pricey. Nice ball rooms, wonderful lobby. Difficult and costly parking.

If you've never seen the ducks at the Peabody you must go! They come out of the elevator at noon and swim in the lobby fountain until they return to their room at 5pm. The Peabody has a lovely old fashioned charm and it's a...More

December 21 and December 22, 2017 - We stayed two nights at the Peabody; one night we paid separately and the second night was part of our American Steamboat Company Mississippi River Cruise which started on December 23, 2017. We were awed by the hotel...More

When we got to the motel at 6:30 PM the room was not ready. Ended up getting two full-size beds instead of what we ordered because the room was not ready carpet was torn going into the bath.

I have lived in and around Memphis since 1988. I have been to the Peabody for drinks, dinner, people watching and work conferences countless times, but had not stayed at the hotel until a wonderful stay in November. Due to a problem with my home...More

The most spoiled ducks in the world call the Peabody home since 1933! Everyday they march them up and down the elevator at 11am and 5pm to "hang out" in the lobby fountain for the day. They literally walk on red carpet and they let...More

We stayed here as a stop along the way on a 3 day driving trip. It's a beautiful old hotel. We made it in time to see the ducks playing in the fountain and walk the red carpet back to the elevator. My husband and...More

Went to the Peabody to see the ducks that I had seen on a TV program. Beautiful old hotel. Great for young and old to see the ducks frolicking in the fountain and their red carpet walk back to the elevator to their rooftop home

You have to go to Gibson's donuts in Memphis if you get a chance and get the bacon maple donut. It is almost life changing. There is always a line, but it moves quickly. Only one Gibson's, and it is worth visiting.
