I went to a photography meet-up here and it was great. Loads of very scenic locations to shoot - from stream and ponds to trees and flowers. It would be a great place to walk, talk or just relax.

Both my mother and I are amateur gardeners and I love to visit botanical gardens in every city I visit. This visit in Memphis though sadly was a mistake. I understand perennial bloomings and I was prepared to have just missed the daffodils or tulips...More

A first class botanical garden and a very special place for a wedding. Even though we were there after the peak season we were thoroughly impressed

Sad to say that so much acreage was undeveloped. Was great for getting an afternoon walk but disappointing when compared to the Garden in St Louis. Makes me appreciate what I have available all year long.

The acreage is huge, the content and interest was minimal. To be fair, we visited in October, but most municipal gardens around the country make sure that there is seasonal plantings and decorations...not this one. The map handed to us was worthless...an idiot must have...More

Very nice garden but frustrating that only some of the specimens are labeled. It's frustrating with so many plants but no way to know what they are. Missouri Botanic in St Louis is much better in that respect.

We went here after over a week of sightseeing. It is a beautiful place. Wished we had had our granddaughters with us to enjoy all the fantastic areas designed for children. Be sure to have lunch at their restaurant. Fantastic food

This garden has something for everyone. It has the best children's area we've seen at a Botanic garden and we have visited close to 100 gardens.

My husband and I were here on business. The garden is a perfect size to enjoy yourself and get a bit tired from walking around. There is a new chicken coop, great water features, garden café to have a meal and a very small gift...More

Over the years, we have attended many enjoyable attractions at the Memphis Botanic Gardens; both inside and outside. Most recently, we attended a Gladys Knight concert with 1st Come Seating on the lawn. Thankfully, the weather was cooperative and we got there early enough to...More

The gardens are very beautiful and have several unique areas to view a variety of foliage. We liked it so much, we bought a season pass .

Hi, we visited the Gardens but not a concert. Not sure about bringing your own food to a concert.

Yes you should be able to see most of the plants. The garden is massive, we didn't see it all as it got far too hot for us. We made it through 70%. Parking is on site and make sure to bring a bottle of water and sunscreen
