I was hanging out across the street at another blues joint when a bit more soulful sound reached my ears. I wandered in and ended up staying for hours. Staff was friendly and the drink selection supported my somewhat finicky tastes. The musical line up...More

This food was so good. I visited twice within a 4 day trip. I think the ribs and greens were my favorite. You didn't need any utensils. The ribs just fell off the bone because they were so tender. Chef Larry's greens were excellent too...More

So, Beale street is super famous and a destination spot in the United States and now you need to add the Blues City Cafe! The place is simple and very "Beale Street" but the food was amazing. We had the Gumbo, Ribeye and Ribs... We...More

Stand in line, order a rack or two of the wet baby back ribs, wait just a bit, eat 'em up, lick your fingers, check another one off the bucket list. Great ribs for a "tourist" style eatery, but worth the trip.
