King, Isaac Hayes, Al Green, Howlin' Wolf, ZZ Top and many, many others through never-before-seen memorabilia, videos, music and interactives.

A Small Museum Dedicated to Memphis

We visited after doing the Rock 'n Soul Museum Tour, as it is a joint ticket. The Memphis Hall of Fame is upstairs in a building off Beale Street by Hard Rock Café/Hotel. It has... read more

Not worth the entrance fee - says nothing that other venues here in Memphis have not already said and done better. Really just seems to be an add-on to the Hard Rock Cafe. If you have visited the other museums etc., you can happily give this one a miss.

Don't miss this if you grew up during the era of Rock&Roll and Soul. Fantastic. Developed by Smithsonian.

If you were wandering on Beale Street, know nothing about music and weren't planning on going to any of the many other amazing places in Memphis to learn music history, then sure wander in. Most of the displays were of obscure artists (they of course had the obligatory Elvis, BB King, etc.), didn't give much information and/or interesting information. This... More

Nothing helps you learn the blues better than by seeing who is in the Hall of Fame. This museum is small, only took about an hour, but was a great start to learning about Memphis music. There were interactive displays where you could pick what artist you wanted to learn about or you could take a quiz to see how... More

We visited after doing the Rock 'n Soul Museum Tour, as it is a joint ticket. The Memphis Hall of Fame is upstairs in a building off Beale Street by Hard Rock Café/Hotel. It has a variety of memorabilia from various Memphis musicians. While it was nice after seeing the Rock 'n Soul Museum, it seemed to be a bit... More

Enjoyed the museum, small, informative, alot of old Memphis blues history here, and only $6. Would recommend going after you go to Rock and Soul Museum. It's a small venue and you will complete this one quicker.

Good way to kill 20-30 minutes. Super tiny museum. You get what you pay for. It was a good way to get out of the rain. I wouldn't recommend unless you have seen everything else.

This place is the smaller sister of the Museum of Rock and Soul. You can get a double ticket for the both. It's not the biggest museum and you can get round it in less that half an hour. Lots of fun exhibits - plenty of fab outfits from the key stars who were instrumental in making music what it... More

Not as big as other music museums but not as expensive either, would recommend this museum to music enthusiasts. Make sure you also stroll through the Lanksy clothing store as the was the clothier to the King.
