The first collection, including testimony from Memphis survivors of the Holocost, was very moving. The second collection of Q'ing dynasty art was a wonderful surprise to find.

The works displayed in this museum are amazing. My wife and I make a point of visiting the Beltz museum at least once a year. It is not to be missed.

Known locally as the Jade Museum, it has some truly spectacular artwork. It's very inexpensive, and walking distance from the Peabody. If you can't find it, just stop in at the peabody and ask the concierge for directions :)

If you've exhausted most of the typical Memphis tourist stops, head for this museum for an hour or two. Very impressive collection of enormous jade carvings, so much that it's hard to describe in words. Amazing.
