Worth a stop if in the area. There is a parking area for the bridge. Only about 1/2 hour of time is really needed. If you are into bridges it really is cool.

My wife and I visited here for the first time. There is not a lot to do here. However, worth a stop if you’re passing by.

There's not an awful lot to do, but the bridge is certainly an interesting piece of construction, that was advanced for the time when built! There is a board with some information nearby, and a car park immediately next to the bridge and a little further up the road for you to park free of charge. The views over the Caledonian Canal are also beautiful. Well worth a stop, even if it only takes up about 10 minutes of your time!

pretty little bridge set in peaceful surroundings. The information panel is informative and interesting. The parking area is a few minutes walk away along a narrow walkway beside a busy road, but the pedestrian walkway is well protected by metal posts. The bridge is well maintained and worth a stop off.

Good parking but to get to the bridge you must cross the busy B road twice and walk along a narrow pavement for a couple minutes, which isn’t ideal. At the bridge there is a simple but informative board about the bridge. The bridge is a lovely piece of Victorian architecture and has been nicely maintained by Historic Environment Scotland. When you cross the bridge you can only go one way because the other end leads on the private land. The surrounds are lovely and you can visit the Caledonian canal. This is a quick quiet stop but nothing particularly special.

This quirky bridge to nowhere built in 1854 once was the river crossing the River Oich.
It is parallel to the concrete bridge now used by vehicular traffic and a small piece of history.

Worth a quick visit and easy to imagine it’s importance in the past

Seeing the river gushing below is lovely

Keep a look out for swallows feeding on the abundance of insects below the road bridge
