This is definitely a ruined castle, and you cannot go inside. There is no guidebook or tours, but you can let your imagination run wild. The ghosts of the McDonald clan are definitely watching you.

It was a nice walk along the River Oich to get to the castle from Invergarry Hotel. Not much to see as it is in ruins, but worth the walk.

We walked here from the Invergarry hotel which is a nice walk on paths along the Garry River. The castle is mostly just a few remaining walls surrounded by a wire fence.

The ruins of Inverarry Castle were beautiful but there is not much to see as you cannot get close to it due to a fence to protect people from the ruins. Still great to see if you are staying at the Glengarry Castle Hotel.

Drove in to see area and was able to walk around but not to get into. Fenced up so no one gets hurt or damage the ruins more. Dates back to the early or before 1746.

An old ruin very close to the Glengarry Castle Hotel. You can buy a pamphlet about the castle at the hotel for a pound.
