Wonderful scenery a truly must see. Can be quite tricky going on the rocks so could be difficult with young children or the elderly

A rush of water over rocks and gentle drop, that travels under the road bridge and beyond. The power of water is mesmerising. You could visit with a tea/coffee or light lunch stop en route to somewhere else.

Take some time to look at other attractions in the area like McNab burial site, old water mill and the village itself ..... even has standing stones (although locals had different opinions as to how to get there). We only stayed for the day take...More

Killin is a beautiful little village with an old cemetery worth visiting. The falls are beautiful in Spring time and the pub next to the falls is also a classic Scottish inn.

Could stand on the bridge and watch and listen to these falls for minutes on end. And it is free! An ever changing landscape no matter what the weather

The water rushes through the town of Killin and you can sit on the rocks, watch and listen to the rapid water. It’s very much worth the visit.

This is a beautiful, natural feature in Killin. It is very popular with visitors especially on a lovely, warm evening. Take the time to sit and watch the water tumbling down the falls.

Right in the centre of Killin, the Dochart falls rush through the old stone bridge which joins the two halves of this beautiful village. Plenty of free parking nearby, and shops and pubs. You can just chill out in the rocks and watch the water...More

The falls are visible from the road however the road bridge which crosses the river and gives a face-on view is long and narrow (single lane) and there are no pavements. I would be very wary of using the bridge in a... More
