This is located to one side of Dochard Falls and is within the watermill. It is interesting to be able to see the wheel in action including the internal workings of the mill. It appears that the restoration is a work in progress so there...More

Small, on two floors, and requiring just ten minutes visit time, the Breadalbane Folkore Centre lies on the A827 right by the Falls of Dochart on the river Dochay. A working mill, on two floors, the centre provides local information, together with local crafts, cards,...More

We found this very interesting, & educational for younger people. The wheel outside was also interesting

We actually made a point to drive from Glencoe because the Scottish Tourist Board listed it as a place that held Clan MacGregor artifacts. My ancestors are MacGregors and I was very excited to see this. Please understand it's not far in miles but far...More

Lovely piece of history that locals are trying to preserve with a thrift store in ground floor and an arts and craft place on second floor. Go in and support the community!

We were happy to spend money in the thrift shop on the ground floor of the old mill that houses this centre. Profits from the shop and crafts displayed upstairs go towards the renovation & hopefully, eventual upkeep of this building. It is worth supporting.

This is a small but interesting place to visit. Enthusiasts are trying to re-open the water mill and the more people that visit the better this can become.

very odd little place-has a lot of history with the mill etc, but when you go in, it is like a second hand shop-selling all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff -we did not buy anything......

The building itself is worth a stop and look-see! There are some crafts and tourist information, as well as the famous Finion's Stones. Two lovey ladies were in charge and couldn't have been more helpful. This place has so much potential!
