Hi, We travelled quite a long way on the allure of a cycle way along by Loch Lomond, unfortunately about 90% of the cycle way runs along or very close to the A82, which is a very busy and at times scary road carrying heavy...More

Parked up in Luss in the large car park and cycled the path on the West Bank of the lockup to Tarbet. It’s 8 miles each way, mostly flat. Good points - lovely views of the lake, mostly good surface and no riding on the...More

This is a welcome cycle track as it gets one off the A 82,Scotland'most dangerous road. The views of the Loch are of course Would famous with justification. The pathway follows the old A 82 of yesteryear and as such is very close to the...More

Like other posters say, this should be fantastic and the views are extraordinarily pretty, lovely having a sit down / rest in Lisa and reading whilst facing the loch, but too often we lost the trail, particularly around / through the golf course. Wouldn't take...More

We hired bikes at Loch Lomond Shores from Canyouexperience. £40 for a family of 4 and we did the return ride to Luss via the West Loch Lomond CyclePath. The route was mostly on a path or quiet road. Some of the route runs on...More

I couldn't write a better review the the previous poster. I agree with everything written. The views are fantasticandits just a pity the ride itself isn't enjoyable. Its impossible to pick up any pace and the paths are in a terrible state. I won't be...More

This looks like a fantastic run, beside the Loch in view of the Ben for miles and miles with the wonderful town of Tarbet at the end to look forward to with its tea room delights. So you set out pretty keen but this is...More

Often cycle from old Kilpatrick to Balloch and some areas of path are covered in broken glass and dogs not on leads with no owner control.

I read a good review but this is very disappointing as it is beside a busy A-road! We started from Balloch, where we could park and leave our car. First mile was OK then the path continues along the side of a busy road. No...More
