One of the best ,old sweetshop I have ever been to, the lady in the shop, didn't harass you, we just looked about at selection of sweets, then finally decided, it takes you back to your childhood, as the saying goes, you feel like a kid in a sweet shop, magic

This wee shop
Had such good reviews I had to go try some items . Bought the tablet and was disappointed it’s just overloaded with sugar . It’s just like biting into

Been coming here with my grandma for 20 years, it’s my favorite sweet shop brings back so many good childhood memories. I highly recommend.

Popped into this sweet shop whilst on holiday in Glen Clova. Lovely selection of sweets and treats, the lady (owner I think) was great spending time chatting and offering welcome advice on things to see and do in the area. Going back to the Glen next year and I will be going to this delightful shop again.

What a little gem this shop is all manner of old style hard boiled sweets some of which are made by the owner on site which involve old recipies. Brings back happy memories of my childhood.This shop is a childs heaven if they like old style sweets!!!

Sweeties in jars to the ceiling. Candy, rock, gems, licorice, all sorts from your childhood. A lovely little store.

Fantastic selection of sweets that take you right back to your childhood! Had to try cherry lips, chewing nuts, bon bons... Great homemade tablet and rock, the different flavours of fudge are amazing! Liz and Darren were really helpful, wonderful to know one of Kirriemuir’s landmarks is in good hands for the future.

A well situated position for the shop and on the flat for parents with young children and wheel chairs. Owner is friendly, welcoming and a very good people person. Staff very welcoming.

Stumbled across this great traditional shop whilst in Kirriemuir visiting friends. They had amazing choice of jars of sweets and all the favourites you would expect. The staff were really lovely making lots of helpful suggestions of sweets to try. Will definitely go back to try more of the homemade flavours of fudge and tablet. The Star Rock is also made on the premises, I am not normally a fan of rock however this has a lovely melt in the mouth taste.
