The ardbeg distillery is closed to visitors as they are doing some work but their visitors centre is open. Great shop and welcoming staff. Happy to allow you taste their wares. Great environment.

While on Islay I visited the Ardbeg Distillery on 10 November 2017 and had a very nice time. The distillery is situated in a beautiful seaside location on the southern part of Islay. While there I did the Ardbeg Full Range Tour & Tasting that...More

We went there - for a short stay - and stayed longer then planned. Really nice people and good atmosphere.

Although the distillery was closed during our visit, we had a fabulous time walking around the place and managed to capture the beautiful distillery and its surroundings. Will definitely be back if going back to Islay for whisky festival.

We started by having lunch in the distillery restaurant, which was fantastic. Enjoyed some fantastic samples of whisky whilst we waited for the tour, with the staff being extremely generous and interactive. The tour itself was great, and we all left very satisfied. Thank you.

I'm a big fan of Ardbeg whisky. I joined the "committee" mailing list despite the fact I find some of their marketing a little over the top at times and to be honest knowing that the distillery has had a fairly recent refurbishment I was...More

We had a tour around Ardbeg with a member of staff from the parent company hiding in the group. He kept that quiet! Sadly, although the guide tried hard to make the tour interesting for whatever reason it just didn't touch me like perhaps some...More
