We really enjoyed the tour, seeing the making of Glenmorangie whisky at each stage. We went out of season so it was quite quiet, there were only five of us on the tour. I'd recommend checking the tour times before you go, make sure you don't miss them. The tickets were £7.50 each. The views over the Dornoch Firth are... More

What an experience, not just the distillery but also the drive there, sublime scenery which is followed by a very informative tour by the young lady who showed us around on Thursday 23rd. The tour starts from where the Glenmorangie story began through to the distilling tanks, the barrels and to finish the tasting room. Through the tour there are... More

But felt a little like the whiskey, mass produced. Now owned by Louis Vuitton you can see the private wealth and branding throughout. Spotless and polished, like their impressive "giraffe" stills, I could not fault our guide who was well informed, but we felt like the tour group we were and were left to look at the museum and shop... Haven't taken visitors to this distillery for a while. Quite a few changes and for the better. Nice visitors centre, shop was a bit disappointing. A bit disappointed with the guide, she knew what she was talking about but she didn't really engage with the group, questions were answered well but something was missing. Not sure it will be my... Although the place is very touristy It has an impressive array of whiskies to taste. You will need to pay for it though. The distillery is huge and worth to visit.

Called in on the way back from the Orkney Islands and had a great tour. The girl taking the tour was very patient as she did not rush through the tour. She was knowledgeable and answered all questions. Loved going into the old warehouses with all the casks. At the end of the tour, we went into the tasting room... More

Fairly standard tour, the distillery itself is beautiful, the stills in particular are magnificent, so striking and recognisable. Our male guide seemed a little bored with the tour and his limp attempts at jokes fell flat. Didn't detract from the distillery at all, the whisky was fantastic and the shop was well stocked and really reasonably priced.
