Very interesting little place with free entry. Can sit in .... even dress up.... in a genuine court case. Lots of history of the village and still have the original cells. Friendly lady in the gift shop. Well worth a visit.

One of the must see things in Cromarty, run by volunteers. Gives a great understanding of the history of the area in times past

Interesting building complete with cells. The highlight is the courtroom on the first floor with a trial taking place

We spent about ninety minutes in this interesting museum. Free entry but donations appreciated. The courtroom with the trial was the highlight but all was interesting and worth spending the time. Friendly helpful lady on the front desk recommended Ecoventures which was also very good....More

Interesting history of the town. Plus the courthouse with a re-enactment of a case. Lovely little garden outside around the back.
