The walk from here is very good and easy, easy grade.
The only issue is that it doesn't really end. Well I think it goes to Fort Augustus so turn back when you want.
We carried on until we could view the small loch with a few islands, about 20 minutes each way.

5/5 definitely a place to visit, wrap up warm if visiting in December and take binoculars to view the deer. Views are stunning

Don’t believe the photos as it rains all the time hear. They must have been photo shopped. Avoid this place if you can as it is nothing but a big disappointment like most of Scotland. We hiked through the Highlands for 2 weeks and it rained every day. The trains were on strike so small journeys became long journeys. Avoid Scotland for now maybe in a couple of years when the people need tourism will it be better.

This stop is 5.4 miles north of the bridge in Fort Augustus. The views from here are stunning. Lakes, mountains, glens. In fact, the stop is also known as Great Glen Ways. We walked the half mile well-worn path up to the summit for even better views.

When driving around Loch Ness you will come across this view point. If the weather is good it is amazing. Worth pulling over & going for a walk along the the trail.

Although you can go part way up by car (there are laybys to park in) you still need to be fit to do the last climb. Your reward is panoramic views to Loch Ness and Loch Tarff. Beautiful on a sunny day!
