Overview
More
This is a 5 star visitor attraction and retail complex. Loch Ness is already the most famous lake in the world but our aim is to make it better understood. This is achieved through a fully audio visually guided 35 minute tour. The presentation is theatrical in style and integrates the real tools and archive footage from four decades of research. As part of our educational remit, under 6s go free. The facts are objectively explained and whilst keeping the mystery centre stage, we place it in the context of the loch's very unusual properties. Thus we are endorsed by Scottish Natural Heritage as "A portal to the unique natural phenomenon that is Loch Ness". We offer a huge range of retail onsite and boat cruises on Loch Ness in the summer months. There is also a large cafe and restaurant attached to the site.

This was our 3rd visit in 5 years.... and yes,... we will return again.... This time round, the centre was more crowded... but the staff handled the crowd well. Maybe a few interesting articles in the foyer would help pass the line up time better...More

This was a good stop off with my 7 year old granddaughter but was a little too adult for her - too much fact dismissing the monster and not enough stimulation for the would be believers.More

Many thanks for your review and for taking the time to leave it for us. I’m pleased that you found the exhibition interesting. The exhibition shows all the research that has been done over the past decades by the Loch Ness project and I’m afraid...More

I would agree with some other reviewers, that more could be done to improve this attraction. The legend of Nessie is a big draw for visitors to the region, but we felt that the current experience was somewhat tired and in need of some redesign...More

Thank you for your review. Whilst we have special long spaces for camper vans in our top car park, it is very difficult for us and most other visitor attractions to have long enough spaces for cars towing caravans. It would seem that you parked...More

Was pretty disappointed with this attraction. The tour through the rooms and the film clips were interesting enough but there was an overwhelming feeling that it could have been far better. The whole place had a tired feel about it. Have visited and won’t be...More

As indicated in the title. This is not suitable for children who strongly beleive in Nessie. The exhibition has a focus of the Loch Ness's and Nessie's history, working bit by bit through possible evidence and in the end dismissing them as natural phenomena or...More
