This is a 5 star visitor attraction and retail complex. Loch Ness is already the most famous lake in the world but our aim is to make it better understood. This is achieved through a fully audio visually guided 35 minute tour. The presentation is theatrical in style and integrates the real tools and archive footage from four decades of research. As part of our educational remit, under 6s go free. The facts are objectively explained and whilst keeping the mystery centre stage, we place it in the context of the loch's very unusual properties. Thus we are endorsed by Scottish Natural Heritage as "A portal to the unique natural phenomenon that is Loch Ness". We offer a huge range of retail onsite and boat cruises on Loch Ness in the summer months. There is also a large cafe and restaurant attached to the site.

Driving to the Loch Ness centre we were all talking about the Loch and Nessie and there were a lot of questions we didn't know the answers to. All these questions were answered during our trip to the centre. It wasn't a very busy day when we visited and our group of 5 only had two other couples in with... More

So glad we hadn't arrived for this tour with our children as I'm sure they would have been distraught at the fact all the tour did was prove that the Loch Ness Plesiosaur didn't live ever had lived there at all!! Gutted no fantasy make believe so please be aware of you have children that like the idea of a... More

We visited the Exhibition Centre on New Years Day, it was clearly going to be quiet and that was an advantage as we could take as much time as we liked. I have that tingle that I would like Nessie to be real so no amount of negative reviews could put me off wanting to find out more. You enter... More

We all enjoyed the visit and the different videos were informative. The tour only took us 45 minutes which was short for the price.

Thank you for your review and for taking the time to come to Trip Advisor and leave it for us. I am delighted that you enjoyed the exhibition. It sounds as if you didn't spend much time in the last room, our archive area, which shows scale models of the things we've found in the Loch, such as the Wellington... More

I love this place! I always have. It has very well put together exhibition and contains some really cool artifacts (my personal favourite is the world's smallest submarine). The tour highlights the incredible amount of research undertaken at The Loch. Every time I visit, I learn something new!! Would absolutely love to meet the guy who put it all together... More

Visited 27/12/16, and though good, wasn't masses to see or do. The majority of the 'show' are films about what has happened - which are OK but need to be more 'special'

Many thanks for your review and for taking the time to leave it for us. It seems that as you went through the exhibition you focused on the presentations in each room and didn't look at all the original equipment from the years of research that we have, such as the worlds smallest submarine, the peaquad submersible, the worlds largest... Cool exhibition which explores the history of Loch Ness. Great presentation for all ages. Well laid out. Worth the entry fee.

I found this Exhibition a little repetitive and for someone who can't stand for long periods, there was a distinct lack of seats. It is overall a pretty slow moving experience and tells you little more than is generally known. The interesting bit is the marine biology of the loch.

We paid for 2 adult tickets at £7.95 each and expected more for our money to be honest. While the exhibition was interesting, there was just not enough of it to justify the cost of entry.
