What a treat this place is! Gorgeous little bookshop in an equally gorgeous village. Didn’t purchase anything this visit but had a lovely browse and found some particularly beautiful Wordsworth Collectors editions of Frankenstein, Dracula and Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde.
The only thing was that there were no prices on display. I’d have been happy to ask though, the lady was just busy serving customers.
I might even pop back for them before I head home to Glasgow.

A lovely bookshop which also sells some gifts, cards and childrens items. A very welcoming shop and well laid out.

Lady who served us was very friendly.

Certainly worth a visit if you are in the area

This book shop was just like a small version of something like Waterstones or WH Smith’s. Books at full price (which means expensive) and nothing really outstanding. It covered all the largest releases but not much else. Oh and it was a gift shop too.

We really enjoyed coming here. The owner was very pleasant and friendly. She helped us pick out books for our grandchildren, explaining what books Scottish youngsters enjoyed.

This is a wonderful example of an independent bookshop. We came for golf but but were very glad we went to the bookshop.

Ordered a book there: easygoing staff, phoned me when the book was delivered, and even opened the shop late so I could get it.
Onsite parking and a lovely old-fashioned style of interior make it a good visit.

Yes we have audio, ibooks and kindles, but for book lovers we still need a bookshop fix and Dornoch Bookshop is the place to go. A small but wide ranging selection and worth a visit.

Nice little bookshop 'with extras' with a good selection of local books as well as fiction and non-fiction selections. Well worth a look.

Thank you for letting our dogs in to your book shop. Very excited to read Midnight Sun which I bought from you.

Would highly recommend. The lady who runs the shop is absolutely lovely!
