The Carnegie Whisky Cellars and Tasting Vault is among the Highland's finest, bespoke whisky shops. Now open in the new Carnegie Courthouse in the historic Royal Burgh of Dornoch. The Carnegie Whisky Cellars hold an extensive selection of whiskies from across Scotland, as well as whisky related merchandise and other spirits.

We had an amazing whiskey tasting at this location with our guide, Michael. He was incredibly knowledgeable about everything around making whiskey and the in-depth history of it in Scotland. I am not even a whisky lover and i thoroughly enjoyed myself at this tasting! Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience in the store. Michael was full off knowledge about the particular whisky that I ended up purchasing. Alo his choice of cigar to enjoy with my whisky was a perfect match

Loved the time in the shop and learning loads of new cocktail recipes. There is a huge selection of different and unique gins to see and Michael was happy to let us sample them. My husband loved the selection of whiskies too.

It seems they are catering to the top end of the market and foreign tourists. Without a doubt the shop is attractive but they seemed to want us in and out quickly.

Visited for a gin tasting with friends on Sat 25th Feb. A great afternoon was had with Michael the manager who was very knowledgeable & had a good bit of banter with him. Highly recommend a visit. The shop also had a great selection of malts as well as gin & rums.
