had a day in Edinburgh yesterday, spent couple of hours here, highly recommend a visit if you like butterfly's. There are so many flying around. Remember your camera to capture them. Also a handling session where you can hold snake, etc. definitely come again.

Visited here today with our 6 year old daughter and we had a great time! We arrived just in time to catch the animal handling session so my daughter got to hold a snake (she was braver than us!), touch a tarantula and a millipede....More

the children loved going round trying to spot the butterflies from the leaflet given on entry. A few empty cages which was a disappointment to the children. Loved the touch and feel area.
