Everything is just right with Auchrannie including the room, facilities and meals. The tapas should be a must for all!!! Probably the best feature has to be the staff, all staff were excellent, nothing was too much bother and we were made to feel very much at home. Thank you all!!

On a recent visit used leisure facilities. Used pool area. Good things are - everything under one roof, suitable for adults and children, pool looks nice and can purchase water, etc. Bad things are - changing rooms are run down/dingy looking, mainly communal(separate areas for males/females). You really need to choose your time very carefully if you want to actually... More

Went in after my massage in the spa and wanted to relax in the jacuzzi but couldn't find one. Nice enough pool and kids pool if you have some with you. Decent steam room and sauna clean changing rooms with bath robe and towel and slippers included

We usually visit here a couple of times a year, not to stay but just to use the facilities. The pool is getting colder by the year and the cubicles dirtier. The sauna benches are slowly rotting away and look like you could fall through them in places. It seems like all the profits are getting creamed off and none... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review following your recent visit to our Leisure facilities. I am sorry that you found the pool temperature to be cool, and the facilities ‘a bit run down’. Please be assured that a program of refurbishment is planned over the winter period, and we hope you will re-visit us next time... More

I went for a swim in the swimming pool which is a very reasonable size with clean changing rooms and a place to get refreshments. Also tried the solarium and sauna rooms which seemed well maintained and clean. Afterwards I went upstairs to the Cruz Bar for a light meal in pleasant surroundings with helpful staff. Would recommend this venue... More

Booked for a few days at the end of a touring holiday. Whilst facilities are family friendly there are also options for couples avoiding the bustle. The three restaurants give you an option of a quieter evening meal with the Scottish tapas restaurant being mostly for adults. The main hotel also has some quieter comfortable stylish seating areas for a... More

Very nice place to while away a rainy afternoon whether you're lumbered with kids or not! if you're not then the sauna and steam room is very nice, and if you are the kids pool is great for toddlers as it's more like a big paddling pool than a swimming pool. The staff are always nice, and they have Arran... More

We had originally gone to the Auchrannie to use the family pool but as it was pouring with rain that day every other family had the same idea and we couldn't get in. So we were sent over the hotel pool instead. I have to admit with a 3-year-old and an 8-month-old we were a little unsure of going to... More

Visited facility in Spa building. Great pool and facilities. Maybe could do with a Jacuzzi and the shower cubicle in men's changing needs attention however did not detract from visit.

My young children enjoyed both the kids and big swimming pool and I enjoyed the sauna. We also played Badminton and Football in the sports hall. We were a bit disappointed that there were no staff members to lead the Family Games time, but perhaps we are just used to cruise ship programming.
