Nice walk to visit the kings caves where Robert the Bruce was meant to visit on his travels. Nice walk and great beach infront of the caves!! Brilliant views over the back looking over Machrie bay!!

After walking quite some distance over a rough track and beach with our 3 year old we found the cave system. There are several caves and they are all interesting. The Kings Cave is impressive and it’s filled with ancient drawings and crusader crosses. Well...More

This is a lovely walk through the forest,along a pebble beach and back alongside the edge of the forest. It says it takes 2.5 hours but we did 1.5 hours easily. The caves themselves are quite something to behold and the views of Machire Bay...More

Parked at carpark and set off on a 4 mile walk. Went towards the right and looped round the route. Fantastic through forrest, along coast down to caves. Found way back up a wee bit of a challenge because I'm not the fittest. Caves definitely...More

Perfect morning walk with the family - amazing views and lots of interest for the children. Found crabs on the beach and explored the caves. Lots of fun!

A fine walk taking the circular route. Surprisingly large cave with a few others to view as well. Good spot for a picnic on the shore.
