What a situation, what history, what a great place to visit! Don't miss finding out about the fish traps in the bay by the car park and the way the monks used the tides...love it! Low key but lovely!

Nendrum is a site drenched in history. It sits on an island in Strangford Lough at the end of a narrow rural road, not suitable for large coaches. There is a visitor centre with one toilet but this is only open on certain occasions. Nendrum...More

This is an amazing place. The worlds oldest tide mill from 600AD. The sense of history is moving. The views to the Lough on all sides are breathtaking.

We live just down the road but some of the best views on Strangford lough. Anyone interested in history and stunning views to die for.well worth a visit.
