Daylight robbery! Save your money and walk the stunning, free coastal paths
Walled garden lovely but so not worth the £30 we paid as a family of 4 to get in. Like always in the UK, massively overpriced. Woodland walk was disappointing, nice but very short trail. So many much nicer walks in the Glens and surrounding area for free. Edge of 'castle' can just about be glimpsed from grounds. We stretched our visit to just over an hour and that was including a picnic! Then walked through Glenarm to forest and viewed the back of the castle from the river path.

Beautiful walled garden with lovely views
We enjoyed our visit here en route to the ferry although we were disappointed that the Castle was not open . I had to point out to the staff that even the website said the walled was closed when it wasn’t . Everything is of a very high standard and the views around were lovely , debatable whether it was good value for money .

    Lovely visit
The tour of the castle was just brilliant with the butler George. So interesting Didnt have a lot of time to see anything else but still plenty of colour in the garden considering how late in the season. Two nice eating places and we bought a sandwich to take away as we were a bit pushed for time being on a coach. We were also thrilled to see a red squirrel just a few feet away. Loved the items in the small aromatherapy shop. Very reasonable and a bit different.

We go here every year, normally stunning but you can really see it going downhill now unfortunately. Mini land rovers have now been moved into the main area (at a cost) to squeeze that bit more money out of parents. Food was the worst - TINY burger (no chips, or option to buy additional food from the hot food bit), children get chicken nuggets and chips - no alternative, not even a teeny burger! And you get half a cup of juice and 2 cheap biscuits per adult handed to you, cheap 10p haribo sweets for the kids. Years ago they did broth and hotdogs, unlimited juice and biscuits INSIDE - much nicer. Feels like a cash cow now. Generally feels like cost cutting, bo big tree outside the sorting office any longer, massive queues for everything! Hats off though to some of the workers putting in their all! The Santa is always fantastic, as is the train conductor who is so funny every year. Unfortunately, it will be our last trip, too much money for what it is and they’ll keep pushing prices up every year whilst people are going mad for them when released in the summer!

Welcome to beautiful Northern Ireland, the north Antrim coast and its views of the glens and Scotland are amongst the best in the work. Glenarm Castle and Gardens however is extremely poor value for money, £10 per adult to visit a walled garden and a very poor “museum”, a Wednesday in august and half the traders were shut too. Save your money and go to Antrim castle gardens, a beautiful parkland owned by the council and is totally free

Glenarm Castle was a lovely place to visit but I really want to praise the lady behind the counter at Past & Present. She was so kind and understanding to my young daughter, helping her find something to treasure and was simply so gentle, generous and accommodating. I was nearly moved to tears by her kindness which resulted in my daughter giving her a hug. Just an amazing experience and I was so touched by such genuine goodness.

Past and Present is located in the Market Yard behind Shambles Workshop and sells antique collectables and garden stoneware. Their prices are remarkably reasonable and I would urge visitors to support such a lovely shop and proprietor. Also, my daughter does not want to take off her beautiful new necklace.

The visit to the castle was great, the garden disappointing and not worth a visit if you have the time recommend the walled garden in bangor and its free, the attractions around were poor, the location in the Glen's great but not worth the money

Lovely gardens and surroundings. The museum is small but interesting. Think there's more to see at weekends or in the summer.
There were several areas closed, probably because we were there on a Monday and they're gearing up for a tulip festival next week.
I'd love a better view or even a tour of the castle, but I gather that the family still occupy it, so totally understand the need to keep it private.

myself, my husband and our three young children spent the night in pod 7 on Easter Monday. We had the most wonderful time. The setting is absolutely stunning and the pods were something really special. The kids loved the bunk beds and I loved wakening up to the sunrise over the sea. It was such a great stay and we had looked forward to it for a long time.

So much so that I would like to book again but when I went to book I see that there is now a surcharge for the children. This is something I have noticed about some of what would be your competitors and was a real benefit to your pods. I feel that this extra cost is really unfair and unfortunate, particularly when there is such a financial squeeze on working families. I understand that you have a business to run but to have to pay a penalty to bring your children with you is a real drawback and does not need to be the case.

Visited walled garden and woodland walk on Easter Sunday. Walled garden will be lovely later in the year but not much to see at the moment. Woodland walk pleasant enough but quite short as others have said. £10 per adult far too much in my view.
