Nice place to visit

We visited the cafe first which is a separate building. Parking is in the nearby long stay car park which costs 50p for an hour and 60p for 2 hours. There is a nice selection... read more

Had a walk around when passing and ended buying a lovely necklace. Quite small and not too many displays but enjoyable. It's nice having some in house makers that you can talk to about their work and you realise how much passion they have for their work. Some of the pieces are expensive however a lot of time goes into... More

We visited the cafe first which is a separate building. Parking is in the nearby long stay car park which costs 50p for an hour and 60p for 2 hours. There is a nice selection of crafts on display although everything is relatively expensive. Saw a lovely glass plate decorated with fish which was labelled at over £1000! It is... More

I organised my office Christmas Lunch for 34 people at the Bistro. Marc and his staff were amazing, as it was a private party we had the whole venue. The food was the best christmas lunch we have had, well cook, nicely presented and definitely plenty of it. I would throughly recommend this venue.

We had a lovely walk from the Allendale to the mill to discover a lovely place. There's a lot to see and there lots of very nice things. As it was the Christmas fair, I went there thinking I'd buy someone a little gift but it was really expensive so for me it was more like a museum. Glad I've... More

Took a coach party here recently and most were disappointed. Not too much for most to see. OK if there are demonstrations or talks going on.

This shows different crafts being made. There is a lady who weaves pictures using photos and they are very cleverly done. There are knitted items and a variety of other things to see. Many of the items are quite expensive. There is a little cafe within the complex and there are the all important toilets!! As the main building is... More

If you are visiting the Wimborne area this is a must visit, especially if you are looking for an interesting or original gift. The Mill acts as a studio and shopfront for a range of artists and designers, including pottery, jewellery and textile artists. It's the place to go for that special birthday or anniversary present.

I have eaten here at the Millstream Bistro several times before but on 26 August 2016 had a really disappointing meal. I had halloumi, avocado, 'roasted' red pepper on a bloomer sandwich with a houmous side. It was really awful. The pepper could well have been tinned or bottled - it was soggy and tasteless. The halloumi was sliced thinly... More
