Even though it had been a dampish day the array of colours in Henrietta Banks gardens were beautiful and it was a really pleasant afternoon. Our friends really enjoyed the Japanese Garden too. Wonderful woodland walks and excellent tea rooms.

I visited some time since and had a vivid memory of painted doors. Although there is so much to see both in the house and the grounds I was delighted to find the doors again and rediscover their interesting beauty

Visited this house for the first time although lived locally all my life. Enjoyed the fact that all the original furniture and items remain. Lovely gardens too. Well worth a visit.

Visited this recently with a friend for a walk, had a lovely few hours here wondering around the gardens, with views towards the house , then as usual ended up in the NT shop where we bought an array of products .

Wonderful property and excellent volunteers as ever. What would the National Trust do without them. So much to see all of superb quality. I don't know when I've enjoyed a property more. Well worth a visit. That said I do think the booking system needs...More

We arrived too late to visit the house, but really enjoyed our walk around the estate. Nice atmosphere. Restaurant staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our sandwiches tea and cake. Kitchen garden is a bit out on a limb, but we'll worth a visit....More

I paid £15 to visit garden and the house. You can literally stay for hours wandering around the house, gardens and woodland walk. We only managed the house and gardens. The garden walks are beautiful with all the flowers in... More

If you are a member of the National trust you do not pay. You may need to book a time for the visit during the busy season. Check your national trust App.
