The house was incredibly decorated for Christmas. Well worth a visit anytime of the year. This was our first but we will certainly go back to see the gardens in the spring.

Beautiful Christmas trees in the house. A little disappointed as it felt like alot of the house was closed off due to the extra Christmas visitors. Maybe we will return in the spring to see if more areas would be accessible .

This opening is about four of the first floor rooms and the basement. The house closed for several days at the end of November and I was expecting more. Each room has a Christmas tree and decorations, all conpetently done. But no narrative, no theme....More

Today, there was a presence of anti hunt protestors drawing attention to the fact that the National Trust allows hunting on its land. A hunt has been given a licence to use their land to "trail hunt" which (as we all know) is a cover...More

Kingston Lacy has something for everyone. We have experienced a traditional Christmas in the house with games and making decorations. The grounds were full of lights and displays. Wonderful.

Having visited before the hour long tour of the house added a fascinating extra dimension and was delivered with a focus on four of the former ladies of the house.

I paid £15 to visit garden and the house. You can literally stay for hours wandering around the house, gardens and woodland walk. We only managed the house and gardens. The garden walks are beautiful with all the flowers in... More

If you are a member of the National trust you do not pay. You may need to book a time for the visit during the busy season. Check your national trust App.
