Although I have driven many times past St Nicholas Church, this was my first time of stopping to take a look at it.

Been here a number of times, before you walk in look left outside against the wall very old coffins, when you get in the church there’s information about the church on a wooden handle very informative.

Called in whilst visiting the town and surrounds.
The church was obviously well cared for and pleasant. It was not the most decorated or the most interesting church we have seen, but worthwhile if you are in the town to have a visit.
A lovely historic church that belonged to the Abbey of St. Peter which is now just a few ruins, but the church is still very much used and has some lovely kneelers which were done in 2000 showing all aspects of the village from cricket...More
