Visited this beach today with my husband and two children aged 7 months and two years. Parked all day for £5, beach was beautiful. We had a great time only wish we had hired two wind breakers instead of one! Would definitely visit here again. Looked like there are lots of nice places to eat but our children were worn... More

Beautiful beach with facilities galore. Excellent Surfing and body boarding, good for families as lovely sand and rock pools to explore. Just please don't feed the seagulls as they really swoop and take food out of unsuspecting holidaymakers. We saw a little boy have a sandwich taken right out of his hand - don't encourage them! But enjoy the beautiful... More

I went here with my husband, 1 year old son and my sister in law and her partner for a relaxing beach day. The beach was busy but not over crowded and was very clean. There are several places on the beach to buy fast food and drinks which are not too expensive plus there are other shops just off... More

Woolacombe beach is beautiful, long, clean and the best of what a British beach is all about. Good for surfers, families and walkers, can't fault it.

This beach will always be number one for me. Been here since I was born. Holds so many memories with family who are past and present. So sentimental and absolutely gorgeous, even on a rainy day!

Huge expanse of sand watched over by RNLI and lifeguards. Toilets at both ends, several cafes and ice cream booths. Plenty of parking. Even though the weather was so so for our visit it was still very enjoyable. Soft sand and rocky areas make a good combination. Apparently there are donkeys there in season as well as a couple of... We arrived at Woolacombe beach to take photos of a wedding we were attending. It is beautiful, large beach. Plenty of parking. Life guards. Shops and toilets all within walking distance. Fast food just off the beach. Dogs are allowed on leads in one section of the beach.

Large, flat beach, with safe waters. Beach is always well maintained. Plenty of rock pools for children to play in. Toilets, cafe and hire facilities are handy. Beach has swings and small railway for children.
