Great house and knowledgeable guides, lovely kitchen garden and parkland. The only downside if you wish to follow the walking trails there are no markers and you end up wandering aimlessly around the parkland. Well worth a visit to the extensive plant centre with some...More

More beautiful than ever since my last visit, over 20 years ago. Great detail work in all the rooms, which look like the family just left them. Don’t miss the billiards room ceiling-line carvings of the animals representing the Seven Deadly Sins (plus the owl...More

The pay barrier is in the stable block, near the shop and cafe, between the main car park and the house. There is a car park just on the left inside the estate entrance, which is perfect for walking in the park, so you can... More

The cafe is in the old stable block. One way in takes you through the pay barrier, but the cafe courtyard is open from the other side, so you can just walk round the building to get into the courtyard and cafe. It's a... More

If I'm honest I couldn't answer these I'm sure they have something. Worth ringing them up and asking though it's a must visit.
