This high-level 3.1 mile walk on the South West Coast Path has a lot of ascent and descent, some of which is steep and can be slippery, but the stunning coastal views in all directions make it worth the effort. Starting at the Ness headland, planted...more

This small RSPB reserve is in a lovely setting and provides good walks for the general public and excellent opportunities for seeing the rare Cirl Bunting for more dedicated bird watchers. It is possible to see all the birds from the level paths near the...More

They have a pay parking lot off the A379 between Shaldon & Maidencombe. The paths are well defined, but expect a reasonable work out, as they are steep. The coastal views are stunning and well worth the effort. I also note the parking lot only...More

A glorious reserve with fantastic views. Reasonably populated at the top near to the car park and icecream van but venture down the steep slopes and you enter an oasis of calm. Splendid views of cirl buntings alerted by their melodious, ringing call. Flocks of...More

Best not come here on a rainy day in February! Ground is steep and was slippery after rain. Path is well marked and provides lovely views along the coast and glimpses inland. Best on a sunny day with less wind.

Parked up in the car park to see the stunning views on offer on our way back home to Barrow. Sadly more time needed to explore the public footpath than we had. But enjoyed the view all the same.

You will get lovely views but you need to be fit - a very hilly part of the South West Coast Path. Some wonderful places like Shaldon and Babbacombe to visit on your trip.

Labrador Bay Car Park. Between Shaldon and Maidencombe. When the ice-cream and tea van is there you will see a teapot on a pole indicating its location. You know you're in Britain when you see a teapot luring people with its promise of a caffeine...More

Parked up and paid only £1 for a full days Parking. Superb views but be warned some of those hills are a lot steeper than they look. I'd advise to have some walking boots if possible. We weren't exactly prepared in shorts and trainers as...More
