Lovely walk today around the gardens. We were surprised to find the castle has been renovated and slightly disappointed we couldn’t go in.

Having just recently moved to the area we decided to check out this botanical garden as it's a short walk from our house. A real gem, tucked away in the hillside. We posed for some silly pictures outside the castle, and the gardener (Gary) saw...More

I have been visiting Sheldon for over 40years and I had never been here. What a great place, really interesting and informative. Great walk but not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Beautiful hillside garden with wonderful views across Teignmouth and beyond. Although I have loved it for a very long time, recently a lot of work has been done by an amazing band of volunteers and it is looking fabulous. It's a paradise for my grandchildren...More

A cracking little garden to walk through for an hour or two. Take a picnic and enjoy a superb view of the bay. Completely free of charge, and not easy to find on foot, but worth a trek up the hill as we were the...More
