We - along with our good Friends - took the Rivermaid Ferry from Kingsbridge to Salcombe and the beauty of the journey is the totally different aspect the views give you. Hidden abodes dotted along the coast give you an idea of how the other...More

Well worth a trip, negates the need to try and find a parking space in salcombe. They don't take card so for a family of four make sure you have plenty of cash on you.

Took the morning 606 bus from Kingsbridge to Salcombe with a view to getting this ferry back. Not disappointed. On time, clean, safe, informative and helpful, crew. Certainly helps when the weather is so good, but very enjoyable 30 mins.
