I walked every morning along the beach road, the beach was almost covered by the high tide most times. Ascending the zigzag path up the cliff was demanding, but the larger view of the coast line was expanding. The path to the point is easy and so interesting. Returning back to hotel for breakfast was a descent and so not... More

We do this walk on a regular basis and never get tired of the wonderful views, Always plenty to see and plenty of sea. Two ways to do this walk. Firstly, along the promenade to the Orcombe Point and then walk up the zig zag path to the top of the cliffs. The tiered path makes the climb easier and... More

This would a be difficult for people with mobility problems as there are stonypaths and steep steps, but Orcombe Point provides a truly lovely view of the South West Coastline, and you can see for miles on a clear day. Its also amazing in rougher weather, but I'd stay well away from the edge of the cliff!

I love walking along this beautiful stretch of our coast. It is a different experience every time as the tide, weather and Mother Nature show their infinite variations. There are walkers with and without children, pushchairs and dogs, rambling groups, hikers and it's very popular with runners. Photographers and birdwatchers enjoy the stunning scenery. At low tide you can walk... More

Immerse yourself, and settle into the picture. with unspoiled panoramic views, there is no better place in Exmouth to forget about the modern world. Towering clay cliffs shelter you from the daily drone, fascinating rock formations occupy your present whilst the oyster catchers humour the moment as they paddle along the shore. A must which is easily accessible on low... More

This travels the length of the Exmouth sea front and is very busy in the summer. It is walked by tourists and locals and is suitable all year round. Some stretches are a little up hill but worth the effort for a mug of tea & ice cream at either end. Good views out to sea from the cliff tops.

This is a small walk with some uphill parts and is a very rewarding walk. The conventional way to start this walk is by Orcombe Point, by the seafront where the road finishes in a roundabout. Here you will find a zig zag path up to the top of the cliffs and there are walks towards sandy bay, which is... More
