Beautiful area with ridge views and waterfalls. Been here twice for private events and marathons. All the hiking trails are well maintained with either gravel roads or paths in the woods and are well marked with names, but not distances. Hikes range from easy to strenous with lots of hills and rocks to climb. The main parking area now has... More

Be sure to be aware that they are only open to the public 2 Saturdays a month. We really enjoyed the visit though. The trails are well marked. The views are great especially from the lookout locations. We loved the rope trail as it was unexpected and unique. Sadly there was not a lot of water coming over the falls... More

We lucked up and found out about this gem on their open day. So much fun and so beautiful! Just a wonderful experience. Easy for kids to enjoy along with adults.

We had driven by the signs many times and decided to check it out so we went to their website to see when it would be open. They are only open the first and last weekends of the month so plan your trip accordingly. I was glad we drove my Jeep Wrangler because some of the roads were a little... More

This place is only open twice a month and we were lucky it was when we were in the area. Short easy walk to the falls but the climb down is steep and moderately difficult. Wear comfortable shoes take plenty of water and carry a stick or pole for balance. Not to be missed if your in the area. Much... More

What a fantastic day out. We were greeted by volunteer staff and given a map. There is a option to donate to help keep it clean and well maintained which it is. We headed straight to the falls. There were plenty of pretty picturesque settings along the way. Many wild flowers and plants. It is sort of a long walk... More

Was very excited about going here only to drive all the way out there to discover it closed. They are only open the first and last weekend of the month. What a joke that is. 😞 Wasted my time

Water fall is beautiful but the hike down is steep and no swimming is allowed. The trails are short and unfortunately not well marked. We had heard much hype regarding Lula lake but were sadly not greatly impressed.

If you are in the Chattanooga area, and are looking for a great place to hike with some beautiful views and scenery, this is it! We were fortunate to have visited on the last Saturday of the month when it is open the public. There are several trails for hiking. Some areas were a little strenuous but doable. The trek... More
