I've visit the Guild as often as I can. The beautiful items for sale may be pricey, but they are unique, and the cards are always affordable. The cafe/restaurant upstairs is superb, whether you have a lunch or a divine cake for tea. Then you...More

After a little mooch around Bovey we stumbled across this rather unexpectedly..: what a lovely stumble! Beautiful crafts, and a lovely upstairs tea room/cafe area. Very good lattes and the food that was being served looked very nice! We will return soon

The cafe at Riverside Mill, Devon Guild of Craftsmen is very friendly, and the food from a simple but reasonably varied menu is really excellent. The service is charming. My grilled goats cheese salad was delicious. Congratulations to head chef Mark.

We have visited the guild periodicaly for many years, usually for lunch. The crafts on sale cover a wide range and there is something for everyone. However, we find the staff lack charisma, charm and interaction with the customers and we are always the first...More

You really must stop off here to see the many different examples of local craft. Displayed and for sale are the best of the best. Really inspired by how much detail goes into some of the craft work. There’s a brilliant cafe as well

I love the gallery area and have purchased a lot over the years. However the restaurant is mediocre at best , especially as competition in Bovey has become far better

Visited during a craft event for children - my daughter enjoyed making scary food for the monster and decorating a cup cake for herself. The people helping the children were lovely and had obviously put in a lot of effort to make a fun activity.The...More

We had a day to spend during a short break to the area. This was a lovely way to spend it. The crafts were stylish, varied and available to buy. There was also a craftsmen demonstrating and talking about the jewelry that he made. The...More

A lot of interesting artwork and beautiful jewellery to see. There is a nice restaurant on the first floor, but they only seem to serve hot food after 12 noon.

We are glad you enjoyed our crafts on show. We do have a breakfast menu too which includes scrambled eggs on hot toast etc and that is served from when we open until 11am.
