Plenty of free parking! Interesting marble museum and lots of marbles to buy along with other goodies upstairs. Nice cafe too. Some beautiful glass ornaments to buy - though some may find them expensive - and wonderfully hand-made. Plenty of kids milling around in the hols and getting in the way of the adults fun!!!! Worth a visit.

This is an interesting place to visit part shop part museum with free entry. I was expecting most of the space to given over to marbles and actually this only a fairly small section of the shop even if there are probably thousands of marbles on sale. Most of the shop was not really me, but if you like nic... More

This is a shop in and old pottery with free entry, a cafe, small play area, glass making workshop and museum of games with some large mechanical marble runs. It is a sort of 'destination' place - you ought to visit and you will probably buy something as it is so interesting.

Enjoyed watching the glass blowing, very interesting. Some lovely glass items on sale. Did not try the restaurant, but menu did look good. I expected the glass ware to be expensive, but although the clothes etc. on sale were very nice and different, thought it was over priced for the average visitor.

The House of Marbles was a glass act and I had an absolute ball when I visited with my baby daughter. I've visited a lot of 'speciality' museums and this one was certainly right up there as one of the best. Genuinely fascinating to witness the working glass factory and watch the ingenious marble runs (not sure who enjoyed those... More

Visited whilst on holiday. Spent a good couple of hours mooching about here. We had three children with us who really enjoyed the marble museum and runs, the outdoor play equipment was also nice and backed onto the cafe meaning we could sit and enjoy a coffee whilst they played. Cafe food was good but staff were a bit inefficient... More

Good place to occupy children - they can watch the 'marble runs' and then buy some marbles. Also the cafe is very family friendly with sensible food.
