Had a brilliant 3 hrs at sea,venturing approximately 8 miles out the 2 Nigels skill & knowledge allowing us great views of Shearwaters,petrels & skua as well as the more common species. We also saw some dolphins making this a perfect trip for wildlife lovers....More

I've done 2 trips over the last couple of years. Nigel and the skip are friendly and we've had superb views of skuas, shearwater including sooties and Balearic and on board cuppa's too. What's not to like.

Great close up of lesser and greater black back gulls, fulmars, kittiwakes, gannets, manx shearwater and a fantastic close up of a sooty shearwater - highlight of the trip. Also razorbills, herring gulls and common scoter. Well recommended.

My husband and my dad booked this trip days in advance before even going on holiday. Took a while to find the boat but got there in the end. Loads of fishing boats and trips were coming back with loads of mackerel caught on different...More

Very sorry you felt this way Directions to the boat were given and a contact number should have got lost. At the time the mackerel were few and far in between and were only being caught on certain states of the tide, unlike this week...More

A very interesting sea trip with dolphins and seabirds to spot. We were three person include two teenager. The guide explain a lot and the skipper gave is best to find places to spot the sea life. The trip last three hours.

Yes on Skerries banks trips, it is inclusive but for wreck trips there is a £10 deposit refundable if no tackle lost, hope this answers your question Regards Nigel; Optimist Charters
