The coast path runs straight through Brixham - stand by the Golden Hind and decide if you want to go left or right. Paths are well maintained and not too arduous, although footwear better than flip flops is advised. And the views are wonderful.

If you like walking, and don't mind a challenge, definitely walk south from Brixham on this path. Berry Head is very nice, and the beaches at St Mary's Bay and further down Man Sand's are very secluded and beautiful. But be warned it is quite...More

Great walks along the spectacular south Devon coast. choose short walks around Brixham - longer to Churston (3miles) or Paignton (6miles) which are more challenging with many ups and downs to the coves .

Yes, it is a good place for dogs but there are a lot of hills and steps so a small dogs with little legs may need to be carried at times. The coast path is ideal for energetic dogs.
