Spent a week here it was lovely. Craving for the kids is a good pastime and everyone catches one. Plenty of nice cafes, bars and fish and chip shops. It also has a fresh fish market will be going back next year.

Best time to go is out of season, although this means a lot of the "tourist" shops may be closed. The harbour is still active with fishing still being done, and classic boats under repair. The gardens along the harbourside have been imaginatively created.

Brixham harbour has a lot of different things to do. Take a stroll, have a drink or meal. There is also a nice range of shops to pop into.

This is a very nice harbour with plenty of shops and cafes nearby. A replica of the Golden Hind is moored in the harbour and is open to the public to go on board and view

Lovely busy working fishing harbour. My husband loves it here as he works in the fish and seafood industry so he is in his element.

Lovely harbour setting with a lot going on. Great to see the fish being unloaded off the many fishing boats. Another artists paradise with all the lovely pastel colours of the buildings on the harbour side.

there is always enough to do and don't forget that there is a configuration of resorts along the coast easily accessible by bus including Torquay. there are plenty of exhibitions on year-round not to mention art galleries.

I agree,I first visited Brixham in October. I feared the same thing..... Don't worry, this is a lovely little town anytime. There will be a couple of places that close early, but only because we,as tourists don't visit them... More
