Other side of the bay from Torquay and a world apart. This is a traditional British harbour with small ships and many small seaside shops and amusements. Great atmosphere and reminds me if Scarborough.

Great to stay in a seaside town that has a working harbour. We stock up with fish bought at the harbour to bring home for the freezer. Delicious !

We loved it down there and our visit coincided with the festival, we were lucky enough to sit on the balcony of a restaurant over looking the harbor while the firework display was on.

We parked up at b & b and either walked or used the number 12 bus.... hop on and hop off for £5 per daysaver. Public car parking in town however some are quite a walk away.

there is always enough to do and don't forget that there is a configuration of resorts along the coast easily accessible by bus including Torquay. there are plenty of exhibitions on year-round not to mention art galleries.
