Came here for the first time after many years absence and really nothing has changed. Great clean sandy beach when the tide is out, which also allows you to walk to Burg Island. There is a static cafe plus mobile barista .

When the tide comes in you can walk through the water to the other side. When the tide is out it makes you feel as if you are walking on the sea floor. I'ts truly an awe inspiring place.

Yes but it is restricted and weather dependant. Mainly there for hotel guests so you might not get a ride if wanting to walk round island.
