La Mare Wine Estate and Distillery is a unique venue situated in the beautiful Jersey countryside. Set in the peaceful grounds of a traditional 18th-century granite farmhouse, this 25-acre working estate is committed to creating the very best wines, ciders and spirits, along with hand-made preserves, fudge, chocolates and Jersey Black Butter. Unique to the island, La Mare is the perfect location to spend the day. Opening hours are 10.00am to 17.00 Monday to Sunday (March to October) or 10.30am to 15.30 Monday to Saturday (November to December).

This estate is worth visiting. You get an informed tour indoors & out, with wine tasting. You are also welcomed with a cider to sample. Loads of produce available to purchase along with a nice cafe.

Visited as part of a coach tour. Guide was very informative and tasting the range of Wine, chocolates and liquer was very pleasant. A nice way to spend a couple of hours.

Great visit walk & talk in vineyard, good information ref to wine making & seperation of skin etc, different way of cooling white wine compared to system used in red wines also very interesting brandy produces aswell as chocolates & fudge worth a visit

Hi, there is no need to pre-book, you can book on arrival, I would allow 2 hours for this attraction.
