Lovely Beach

The beach has very clean sand and is very nice on a sunny day, there are lots of rock pools and even a walk to the castle.

When the tide is out the beach is actually pretty big and you can even walk out to the castle. There are nicer beaches on the island but this is great.

The beach at St Helier is a good walk when the sun is shining you can stop of and visit Elisabeth castle and if the tide is out you can walk across to the castle the beach was clear and tidy when I was there there are places to stop of for coffee and tea and a great place to... More

One thing you can say about St Helier beach is how beautiful the place is. One thing that is impressive with the stretch of beach is how many toilets there are along the bay. I know it may sound simple, but I am someone who walks along Whitstable bay, Hastings and Eastbourne, however you have to time your toilet break... More

The lovely sandy beach is right in the centre of town and you can walk out to Elizabeth Castle when the tide is out.

Enjoyed our low-tide walk to the Elizabeth Castle along the causeway. This was in good order and better condition than I was expecting. The beach is really extensive at low tides, but care is required as with all beaches in Jersey with such a large tidal flow around the Island. This can be 8 meters or more, so incoming tides... This beach is a lovely beach and in fact there is not one beach in Jersey that I do not like. But out of them all this beach would be my least favourite- however, it is not horrible and it is defiantly better than the UK's Brighton beach!!!! When the tide is in, you cannot access the sand and sometimes... More

With the tide out this beach is simply endless sand, great for all ages. With the tide out the walk to have a paddle is a little further than a hop skip & a jump. If you like a beach you will LOVE this one..

The beach is only a few moments walk from the town centre & I'd certainly recommend walking around Elizabeth Marina to get to the bottom of the pier to obtain closer images of Elizabeth Castle as we ventured this way twice & the tide was in on both occasions so unable to walk over using the causeway. You have the... More
