Probably best with children. Lots of interactive about tides. Wind scale. Waves etc. really hands on stuff. Boat building. Cooking seafood. This ends with some great local sea life films. The tapestry is more adult related and ties in well with the war tunnels

The Museum has a lot to do - with a lot of interactive displays that I guess are aimed at a younger audience. One of which is where you need to match sails and weights to a boat and try to get it to sail.....More

I loved this museum! There's so much to do, so many buttons to press and you can even get your hands wet! Fun for adults and children! I've never seen a museum like it!

Set out so great and showing the history of sailing on the island. Very child friendly and fantastic exhibits and photos. We were very drawn to the small ship that rescued soldiers on Dunkirk beach.

The visit to the maritime Museum was informative and lots of fun. Combined in the ticket was a visit to the Occupation Tapestry which was outstanding. The commentaries were so interesting. I can throughly recommend this venue.

Children would probably enjoy this museum more as there are lots of things to play and experiment with! To me it was worth the entrance money to see the Jersey tapestry but children would find this part quite boring!

I would say this is geared more for entertaining kids with the interactive exhibits on a rainy day - if you go for the 3 or 4 heritage pass I would give this one a miss.
