There are several old towers that the guide showed us as we drove the island. This one is in good shape for the age and I loved the history of it. Very nice.

I visited this site during a Jersey Christmas break , and it's a good piece of history. Built in the late 18th Century, it also guarded against any French invasion during the Napoleonic Wars. If you decide to walk here, from St Helier, a few...More

This fortified Jersey Round Tower at Le Hocq, built in the 1780, punctuates a stunningly beautiful coastal location. Definitely worth a short stop at Le Hocq to enjoy the views!

A tower built in St Clements close to sandy beach that was built as part of the defences of the Island against the French. Stands out Proud from a distance.

Well worth a look, park close by & walked over stunning coastline, not much to see in Tower other than the history attached. Truly stunning location.

This is a lovely tower right next to a quaint little beach. We saw the area both in the day and at sunset, which I can say are easily as beautiful as each other. You won't need long here, but there is plenty of parking,...More

You pass this on the wonderful coastal drive on the east of the island. If there is space to park it is well worth stopping not just to see the defensive tower but also the rocky beach and tidal pools.

Missed breakfast in our hotel and decided to walk into St Helier. Passing this tower, our hunger overtook us and we bought egg and bacon baps to eat sitting on a bench at the tower. One of the most relaxing breakfasts enjoyed during our holiday....More

We stopped here for photos a couple of times, but was lovely when we had a sunset. Also a van with refreshments and a pub opposite which is handy, and free parking across the road!

There are toilets in the car park, or there is a pub on the other side of the road.
