There are many competitors for best beach on jersey, but portelot is truly stunning. When the tide is out getting into the sea is a bit rocky. Secluded and accessed down a 100 or so steps. Cafe on the beach, but the quaint portelot inn...More

I think there are 128 steps down to the beach (and therefore 128 steps back up) but the beach is beautiful and it’s worth the effort. We were on the beach at 9.30 this morning and had it to ourselves.

Absolutely loved this beach! It’s so worth the walk down the steps to get to it. A beautiful picturesque bay which looks totally different when the tide is right out. There is a great little cafe down on the beach too. This has to be...More

The beach is accessed le down a path with lots of steps, so it isn't somewhere for people with access challenges to attempt to go but once there it is beautiful and a place which many locals seem to be drawn to. Parking is limited...More

Off the beaten track this quaint and secluded bay is stunning, great views, Janvrins tomb on the central small island in the bay, long walk down the steps from the car park to the beach but well worth the effort.Popular cafe on the beach

This is a lovely beach to walk round - it's very pretty and the rock pools are fascinating. There are lots of cafes and toilets on the way round.
